Friday Night Inc. (CSE: C.TGIF, VPGDF, Forum) said Friday it has appointed Dr. Anthony R. Torres to its board of advisors.

Friday Night also released an update on the genetics-breeding program at the company’s 91%-owned subsidiary Alternative Medicine Association, LC. (AMA).

Over the past several months, AMA has been cross breeding existing strains in the hope of creating an improved cannabis product.

One of AMA’s favourite prototype plants from the genetics program is a strain they have created and named “Naughty Cookies.’’

More information can be found here.

Friday Night was in the news recently when the company issued an update on the State of Nevada becoming the fifth U.S. State to introduce adult-use cannabis on July 1st, 2017.

Nevada now allows adults aged 21 and older to purchase and possess up to one ounce of cannabis after the new law was approved by voters in November, 2016.

Full Disclosure: Friday Night Inc. is a paid client of Stockhouse Publishing.
