Toachi Mining Inc. (

Forum) today announced its maiden resource estimate for the La Plata Gold Project, located 85 km southwest of Quito, Ecuador. La Plata is a gold/silver/copper/zinc/lead polymetallic deposit.
The Company is reporting a total Inferred resource of 1.9 million tonnes @ 4.1 g/t Au, 49.4 g/t Ag, 3.3% Cu, 4.5% Zn, and 0.6% Pb. The resource is comprised of the North and South Sectors of the La Mina deposit.
Mineralization is particularly robust in the South Sector, with a 0.8 Mt resource @ 5.3 g/t Au, 71.1 g/t Ag, 3.2% Cu, 5.5% Zn, and 0.9% Pb. All estimates are based on a cut-off grade of 4 g/t Au Eq. In addition recent extension drilling in the South Sector shows additional resource potential at depth. Further information can be found
