DNI Metals Inc. (CSE: C.DNI, OTC Pink: DMNKF, Forum) said Thursday it has now delivered a 28 tonne bulk sample to India. This sample comprises 14 tonnes from each of the Main Zone and Southwest Zone of DNI’s 100%-owned Vohitsara graphite project in Madagascar.

The Indian group, a potential off-take customer, will process the material at its plant, and report the results back to DNI.

More information can be found here.

DNI recently completed a $2.8 million financing with the help of Ascenta Capital.

The financing is comprised of 35 million units of the company at a price of $0.08 per unit.

DNI said it plans to use the private placement proceeds for the acquisition of the Marafody project in Madagascar, the building of its modular graphite pilot plant, and for working capital.

DNI Metals was in the news recently when it announced that it was increasing the size of the private placement financing to $2.8 million.
