MedMen Acquires Marijuana License and Facility in Florida

MedMen Enterprises (CSE: MMEN, Forum) announced Wednesday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire dispensary and cultivation assets from Florida-based Treadwell Simpson Partnership and its affiliates. This acquisition includes Treadwell’s cultivation facility and the right to open 25 medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of Florida.

Last week, MedMen began trading under the Canadian Securities Exchange following the reverse takeover of a Canadian public company and raised approximately $143 million (CDN) through a private placement at an implied enterprise valuation of $2.14 billion.
