Yes. A Cannabis Company Just Posted Positive Earnings Results

Click to enlargeToronto-based Aleafia Health (ALEAF) made its first quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA after reporting its fourth-quarter results on Wednesday.

ALEAF said it made $200,000 in positive adjusted EBITDA while reporting $6.03 million in revenue in the three-month period ending Dec. 31.

The company slashed SG&A spending by 11 per cent to $4.3 million in the quarter while cannabis gross profit increased to $3.8 million. Aleafia currently sits on over $40 million in cash, the company said in a statement.
