Sky Gold Corp. (TSX-V: SKYG, OTC Pink: SRKZF, Forum) announced on Wednesday that diamond drilling has begun at its 1,625-hectare Mustang Property, situated within the highly prospective Gander gold district. Just over a month ago, SKYG retained Cabo Drilling Corp. to complete this maiden minimum 3,000 metre diamond drill program on the Mustang and Virginia Properties.

Mike England, CEO of Sky Gold stated – “Newfoundland is currently one of the hottest exploration areas in Canada, led by New Found Gold with an active 100,000-metre diamond drill program at its 100-percent-owned Queensway project. We are very excited to start drilling at targets such as the Outflow prospect where surface samples have been recorded as high as 28 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) over 0.8 meters.”

FULL DISCLOSURE: Sky Gold Corp. is a client of Stockhouse Publishing.
