A carbon science company focused on energy storage and green energy creation and re-creation just closed its third and final tranche of the private placement by placing an aggregate of 8 million units at a price of $0.125 per unit for gross proceeds of $1 million (CAD).

Volt Carbon Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: VCT, Forum) is a carbon science company, with specific interests in energy storage and green energy creation and green re-creation, with holdings in graphite mining claims in the province of Quebec in Canada.

The company also announces that it has granted an aggregate of 1,500,000 options to a current Director of the company and a consultant, pursuant to the Company’s stock option plan. The options have an exercise price of $0.115 per common share.

In February 2022, Volt Carbon had changed its name from Saint Jean Carbon Inc. to reflect the continuation of the company as a mining operation and reflect the importance of the company’s recently acquired wholly owned subsidiary, Solid Ultrabattery Inc.
