TRADE NEWS: Agilent Technologies’ EEsof YouTube Channel Passes Half-Million View Mark
Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that its Agilent
EEsof EDA channel on YouTube has surpassed half a million views and
1,300 subscribers.
The Agilent EEsof YouTube channel features over 275 videos offering
detailed application information on electronic design automation
software from Agilent EEsof, including Advanced
Design System, Genesys,
EMPro,
GoldenGate,
SystemVue,
and the company’s suite of device-modeling
software. The videos provide viewers with detailed tutorials and
design-flow information and are available to anyone wanting to learn
more about Agilent EEsof’s design software or high-frequency and
high-speed design applications.
“Our goal has been to provide customers with a convenient way to access
a wealth of practical information about Agilent EEsof solutions,” said
Kirt Kisling, marketing programs manager at Agilent EEsof EDA. “With
over 500,000 views in a few short years, the value of this medium to our
customers is clear. We plan to continue developing quality videos to
keep customers informed about the latest innovations in our software.”
Agilent has also begun porting its videos to YouKu, a video hosting
service in China. YouKu currently ranks as one of the world’s largest
video hosting services, second only to YouTube. It provides Agilent
EEsof’s customers in China with access to its videos subtitled in
Chinese.
The Agilent EEsof YouTube channel is accessible via links on the Agilent
EEsof website. Product and application information is organized into
video playlists to help customers find tips on applying Agilent EEsof’s
products to their specific application. Customers also can rate the
videos they watch, leave comments and sign up to receive email
notifications of new videos.
