X.commerce Names Glenn Hasen As Vice President of Global Sales and Channels for Magento
Magento, the leading eCommerce platform part of the X.commerce division
of eBay Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY), today announced that Glenn Hasen has joined
the company as vice president of global sales and channels. In his new
role, Glenn will manage day-to-day operations of the sales organization
and oversee merchant adoption, successful customer onboarding and
retention of the Magento platform.
“We are delighted to welcome Glenn to the Magento family,” said Roy
Rubin co-founder and chief operating officer at Magento. “The depth of
experience that he brings to the sales team will help us foster greater
collaboration between our key stakeholders as we double down on our
commitments to merchants, partners, and developers.”
Glenn brings over 25 years of sales, business development, services and
channels experience to the role having previously directed global
activities for major technology organizations with emerging offerings
like big data, cloud, applications, and mobile.
Prior to joining Magento, Glenn directed worldwide field operations at
Zend Technologies, expanding operations to a 25 percent annual growth
rate. Additional roles include positions at Pivotal Software and
Computer Associates. Glenn’s leadership experience also includes serving
as the president and chief executive officer of several technology
software companies.
Glenn holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo, Ontario
and finance certificates from both the Wharton School of Business and
Columbia University.
