KBR Building Group Awarded Design-Build Contract for New Aircraft Manufacturing Facility in Red Oak, Texas
KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced today that KBR Building Group has been awarded
a contract by Triumph Aerostructures — Vought Aircraft Division, a
subsidiary of Triumph Group,Inc., to design and construct a new
manufacturing facility in Red Oak, Texas.
The 730,000-square-foot assembly and composites fabrication facility
will manufacture integrated aerostructures for commercial, military and
business jet aircraft. Site work has begun with occupancy slated for the
second half of 2013.

Division as they continue to build out the Red Oak campus,” said Philip

Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft Division’s first production facility at
this site last year. Based on our team’s solid performance we were
invited back to design and build the second project, which is an even
larger facility.”
