Perficient Expands Enterprise Mobility Offerings with Formation of Dedicated IBM Mobility Practice
With the rise of enterprise mobility impacting all industries,
businesses are forced to adapt to maintain growth, engage their
employees and retain customer loyalty. As a result, Perficient,
Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), a leading information technology consulting
firm serving Global 2000 and other large enterprise customers throughout
North America, is experiencing an increased demand from clients to
design and implement effective mobile engagement strategies for both
employee and customer applications.
“Mobile is having a profound impact on the market today. However, if
companies want to have a successful mobile strategy, it takes more than
just developing a sleek-looking app,” said Hari Madamalla, vice
president of Perficient’s IBM BPM and industry solutions practice.
“Mobility is placing new demands on IT for effective usability,
architecture and development approaches. Users are demanding fast-paced
delivery yet require an engaging user experience, a secure and
consistent architecture, and a well-defined development methodology.”
As an IBM
Premier Business Partner, Perficient recently has formed an IBM
Mobility Practice to offer end-to-end assistance with strategy, planning
and implementation of mobile solutions. The IBM Mobility Practice
extends and enhances Perficient’s well-established mobility
service offerings for enterprise customers. Specifically, the IBM
Mobility Practice can help clients integrate and deliver IBM’s
Worklight solution, an open, comprehensive and advanced mobile
application platform for smartphones and tablets. Using Worklight,
Perficient can create cross-platform applications that reduce
time-to-market and cost and complexity of development, and enable a
better user experience across a variety of mobile devices.
“With the launch of our IBM Mobility Practice, Perficient is better
positioned to help clients across all industries, including retail,
automotive, healthcare and financial services, address not just the
creation of mobile applications, but transform their business processes,
and seamlessly connect existing back-end data, applications and systems,
utilizing IBM technologies,” continued Madamalla. “When combining our
mobility expertise with extensive experience delivering business process
management (BPM), SOA and integration, and Connectivity solutions,
Perficient is well positioned to help our clients become more agile,
flexible and responsive, which strengthens customer engagement,
accelerates productivity, and drives business growth.”
Mobile Makes an Impact in the Retail Industry
Perficient recently worked with a large, national retailer to help
address the rise of enterprise mobility, transforming their web and
commerce infrastructure to better engage with retail customers through
digital platforms. This infrastructure strategy helps remediate barriers
between the store and the dot-com platform, and open up new mobile and
third-party retail channels. It delivers the right information to the
right touch points quickly and reliably by connecting back end systems
to front end engagement. As a result, the retailer has the ability to
extend their guests’ shopping experience beyond the walls of their
retail store – including mobile applications – and can offer personal,
easy and convenient options whenever and however their guests choose to
shop.
Witness Perficient’s Mobile, BPM and SOA Expertise at Impact 2013

During the conference, executives from the large, national retailer took
part in the Forbes Business Leadership Forum keynote presentation, and
