Accenture’s Property & Casualty Insurance Claims Software Receives Industry Awards for Functionality and Service
Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) property and casualty (P&C) insurance claims
management software, Accenture
Claim Components, received two XCelent Awards in Celent’s latest
report titled “Claims Systems Vendors: North America P/C Insurance 20131.”
Accenture Claim Components was recognized with:
-
The XCelent Service Award for the leading solution in “Depth of
Services.” Celent relies heavily upon qualitative indicators derived
from the client reference survey to measure this dimension.
-
The XCelent Functionality Award for the leading solution in “Breadth
of Functionality.” Celent reviewed each vendor’s system against the
functionality demanded by P&C insurers for this award.
“The role of claims professionals is being redefined with a sharper
focus on the delivery of improved outcomes,” said Michael A. Jackowski,
global managing director of Accenture Software for P&C Insurance. “We
see these awards as recognition of Accenture Claim Component’s ability
to help insurers make this shift by improving settlement accuracy,
detecting fraudulent activity earlier in the claims cycle and enabling
new data-driven claims processes.”
Celent is a leading industry analyst firm focused on the application of
information technology in the global financial services industry.
Launched in November 2010 to acknowledge vendor excellence, Celent's
XCelent Awards are designed to help financial institutions and
technology providers stay abreast of industry trends by evaluating the
shifting vendor marketplace and awarding technology best practices.
“Accenture Claim Components is a very strong offering, benefitting from
Accenture’s continuing investments,” said Donald Light, director of
Celent’s Americas Property/Casualty practice and author of this report.
“Its features and functions, portal and usability are all pluses.”
Accenture has made an excerpt of the report available on its website.
