Hemisphere Energy Announces Results of Annual General Meeting

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 11, 2013) - Hemisphere Energy Corporation (TSX VENTURE:HME) ("Hemisphere" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its shareholders approved all matters put before them at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on June 10, 2013, as follows:

1. Presented the annual audited financial statements of the Company for the ten months ended December 31, 2012 and the report of the auditor thereon;
2. Fixed the number of directors of the Company at six (6);
3. Elected the following directors of the Company for the ensuing year: Charles O'Sullivan, Don Simmons, Frank Borowicz, Bruce McIntyre, Greg Sadler and Gregg Vernon;
4. Appointed Smythe Ratcliffe LLP as auditors of the Company for the ensuing year at a remuneration to be fixed by the Board of Directors; and
5. Passed an ordinary resolution approving the renewal of the Company's Stock Option Plan.
