ROCKVILLE, Md., June 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] has been awarded a contract to provide information technology (IT) and emergency operations planning and support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Public Health and Preparedness (OPHPR). The multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling value of $400 million over five years.

Lockheed Martin supported staffing and training for the CDC's Emergency Operations Center, and is partnering with them on a dashboard to enable federal, state and local agencies to share real-time data.
