Fission Appoints Mr. Jeremy Ross to the Board

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 13, 2013) - FISSION URANIUM CORP. ("Fission" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:FCU) is pleased to announce that Jeremy T. Ross has joined the Board of Directors.

Mr. Ross has more than fifteen years in corporate development and marketing for junior mining, oil and gas companies. He is the founder/president of Opus 3 Consulting - a successful corporate development firm based in Vancouver, Canada.

With a comprehensive network of institutional and retail relationships, Mr. Ross has planned and implemented numerous marketing campaigns. Most recently, since 2010, he was the Corporate Development Consultant for Fission Energy and played a key role in growing investor awareness.

Mr. Ross replaces Mr. George Sanders who has stepped down. The Board of Directors would like to thank Mr. Sanders for his valuable contribution to the Company.
