STAG Industrial, Inc. Announces Acquisition And Leasing Activity For July 2013

BOSTON, Aug. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- STAG Industrial, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE:STAG), a company focused on the acquisition, ownership, and management of single-tenant industrial properties throughout the United States, today announced its acquisitions and leasing activity for July 2013.

  • Acquisitions

In July the Company acquired two buildings, one warehouse and distribution facility and one light manufacturing facility, containing a total of 250,100 square feet for approximately $10.8 million.  These properties are located in Nashville, Tennessee and Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The properties are 100% leased with a weighted average lease term remaining of over ten years.

For the year to date, the Company has acquired 25 industrial facilities consisting of approximately 4.3 million square feet for approximately $181 million.

  • Leasing 

The Company signed three new leases consisting of approximately 119,000 square feet.  The leases signed were located in the Holland, Michigan, as well as Simpsonville, South Carolina, and El Paso, Texas.

For the year to date, the Company has signed ten new and six renewal leases for a total of over 1.9 million square feet.
