DGSE Companies, Inc. (NYSE MKT: DGSE), a leading wholesaler and retailer
of jewelry,
diamonds,
fine
watches, and precious metal bullion
and rare
coin products, today announced that it has expanded its presence in
the strategically important market of greater Charleston, South Carolina.
DGSE opened its second Charleston Gold & Diamond Exchange retail
location, in Summerville, SC, to service the north and western parts of
the greater Charleston area. The 5,125 sq. ft. standalone location on
Summerville’s main thoroughfare joins DGSE’s Charleston Gold & Diamond
Exchange Mount Pleasant location, which has serviced the south and
eastern sections of Charleston for over 10 years. It brings its total
number of stores to 35 in seven states.
James Vierling, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board,
stated, “We are enthusiastic about opening our second Charleston Gold &
Diamond Exchange store located in Summerville. Our original Mount
Pleasant store is one of our highest volume and most profitable
locations, and we expect that by creating easier access to the north and
west part of the area, with our same fine quality products and great
customer service for patrons, we can duplicate the success of the
original store. We will have a full-service jeweler onsite and our
Summerville staff members have been trained by our professionals in the
Mount Pleasant store so new and long-time customers will enjoy a
seamless and pleasurable experience in our second Charleston Gold &
Diamond Exchange location.”
