Text Kills Raises $12,061 on Crowdfunding Site Indiegogo.com

Money to be Used Toward Development of a "TWDocumentary" for Educational Institutions

San Clemente, Calif - August 7, 2013 - Text Kills®, a community outreach organization that since 2010 has traveled the country to spread awareness about the dangers and hazards of distracted driving and text-bullying, is pleased to announce today that it has raised $12,061 through the popular crowdfunding platform Indiegogo for purposes of funding its development of a documentary on the subject of texting while driving or TWD. Entitled "Smartphones of Mass Destruction," this film – or as its Text Kills® supporters like to refer to it, "TWDocumentary" – will be distributed to education institutions nationwide, and will cover the stories, science, psychology, technology, and laws relating to TWD, which according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has become the nation's number one cause of death among teenagers.

Text Kills® saw great potential in using crowdfunding as a way to spark the public's interest and participation in this project, and more generally, to get people more involved in helping to find a solution to the problem of distracted driving. Funders of the campaign received a broad range of benefits, rewards or credits, depending on the size of their donations, including the opportunity to be listed in the credits of the documentary as contributors, or with respect to larger donations, as producers. Indeed, such crowdfunding incentives are proving to be of great value to organizations like Text Kills®, with many now embracing Indiegogo and other online platforms instead of the more passive, traditional donation-based approach.

"We are overjoyed with the outcome of our Indiegogo campaign," commented Wayne Irving II, Text Kills® founder. "We knew that this was an issue that people were passionate about, but we really didn't expect such a positive, supportive response to our documentary project. We can't thank all of our contributors enough for their support."

Text Kills® has also announced that it will be launching an extended "Take 2" of their TWDocumentary crowdfunding project, as it understands there were significant amounts of funders who wished to participate and take advantage of the great rewards for helping out, but were simply unable to do so before the August 6, 2013 deadline for the current fundraising campaign. The new funding goal will be $3000, and Text Kills® anticipates that Take 2 will be significantly overfunded.

A portion of the funds raised from the initial crowdfunding effort will be used to fly Wade Morgan from Florida to Orange County, where he will appear at various Text Kills® events. Morgan, who was left with very serious and debilitating physical disabilities as a result of an accident caused by a motorist who was texting while driving, will have his story featured in "Smartphones of Mass Destruction." He will also be a guest speaker for Text Kills® at three Coca-Cola corporate events next week, set to coincide with the company's annual Sharing Happiness Week. The events will be held at the San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles distribution centers for Coca-Cola.

In addition to its work on the TWDocumentary project, Text Kills® continues to see strong demand for its appearances (including the widely recognizable Text Kills® Tour Bus) at rallies and educational events relating to TWD and distracted driving. Most recently, Text Kills® Founder Wayne Irving II gave a presentation to the City Council of Greensburg, Indiana, and the city is now discussing securing additional appearances for Text Kills® at three local high schools during the organization's next cross-country trip.

Text Kills® is a registered trademark and outreach organization created by Iconosys, Inc., the smartphone technology development company, and its founder, Wayne Irving II, as part of an effort by Iconosys to create a grassroots/viral marketing tool that promotes the sale and/or distribution of the company's proprietary technological solutions to the problem of texting while driving. Iconosys' Drive Reply® product was one of the first driver attendant apps on the market, and is available for use on Android, and some Windows and Blackberry mobile devices. Iconosys is 10% owned by publicly traded Monster Arts, Inc. (OTCQB: APPZ), which company was itself a significant contributor – in terms of human resources, logistics and administrative support - to the above-described Text Kills® Indiegogo campaign.

About Text Kills®

Text Kills® is a donation-supported outreach program that regularly partners with law enforcement, fire/safety authorities, schools, other non-profits, community outreach programs, and corporate safety officers in an effort to educate and increase public awareness concerning the dangers of cell phone use while driving or when used to bully and harass (text-bullying and cyber-bullying). Text Kills® works with Bully Buster USA™ in community outreach and safety awareness programs, dedicated to educating the public about the deadly issues of distracted driving and text-bullying. To help spread the Text Kills' message of driver safety and responsibility, the Text Kills® Tour Bus traverses the country, collecting signatures on its sides from people pledging not to text and drive.
