Concierge Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: CNCG) through its wholly owned subsidiary, Janus Cam, an established provider of commercial mobile video recording devices, debuted its new single lens camera, the Janus Hunter, at the recently concluded Great American Trucking Show. By all accounts the introduction of the Hunter camera was a tremendous success. On-hand inventory was entirely sold out by the end of the show.
Janus Cam has been featuring its widely accepted dual lens product, the Janus V2, which is designed to suit the needs of fleet managers seeking to improve driver practices and reduce losses through better monitoring of vehicle movements, liability claims, idle times, and collision evidence all stored in readily accessible video recordings taken both inside and outside the vehicle. Somewhat surprisingly, Janus discovered at the trade show that individual drivers were looking for the same protections against false claims without the need for the comprehensive fleet management tools embedded in the more sophisticated Janus V2. The Hunter emerged as the ideal and affordable solution for these operators.
The Hunter, at a suggested retail price of $125.00, records events occurring from the drivers perspective out the front windshield in high definition video and stores the data on an integrated SD card also included with the device. The Hunter has some additional features not found in more expensive competing devices, such as backup battery power, a parking or idle time mode, live video output port, and is scalable to add a GPS module to record the vehicle route and speed with G-force inertia sensors.
The Hunter joins the rest of the Janus Cam line of vehicle recorders which include the Janus V2 dual lens camera with integrated GPS tracking, audio recording, external data storage and WiFi connectivity; the Janus V1 single lens camera with high definition external view recording, GPS tracking and audio recording; the S-view single lens camera for international customers who desire an integrated video viewing screen (these are not permitted in the U.S.); and the separate multi-channel DVR which can accommodate multiple external lens for recording video throughout interiors and exteriors of larger vehicles such as buses and trains.
