Monster Offers Announces US Patent and Trademark Protection for New Marks: Ad Shark(R) and App Hysteria(R)

APPZ

Public Company Gains Protection for Names of Two of its Powerhouse Brands: the AppHysteria® App Store System and the Mobile Marketing Sales Brand Ad Shark®

San Clemente, CA, September 04, 2013 - (ACCESSWIRE) - Monster Arts, Inc. (OTCQB: APPZ), a leading analytics provider and mobile advertising/content distribution platform company announced today the formal registration of its AppHysteria® and Ad Shark® trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). These registrations add to the company's growing portfolio of intellectual property, further protecting Monster Arts' well-established brands, related apps, websites, merchandise, and licensing agreements.

AppHysteria®, originally built for Ad Shark by Iconosys, is a white label app store / mobile content management platform that allows for the custom creation of boutique app stores or content management tools for clients.

This newly announced legal protection for the AppHysteria® brand name further adds to the intrinsic value of the white label app store's technology delivery backend as a solid foundation for mobile marketing and custom ordering systems development. Monster Arts sees this technology system as representing an enticing opportunity for secure real time ordering, content delivery and account management. The system is built to facilitate an ordering process that can deploy desired media content catalogs and wish list management applications, which together can enable media content to be securely transferred via the web and between specified Android OS devices.

Ad Shark®, formerly the pre-merged entity that managed the now popular Travel America Visitor Guide (TAVG) system, brought in thousands of recurring billing clients through its merger with Monster Arts' predecessor-in-interest, Monster Offers. After Ad Shark's corporate dissolution in conjunction with the above-referenced merger, the Ad Shark® brand remains a well-recognized and significant potential brand for future subsidiaries and marketing products under the Monster Arts umbrella. The application to trademark Ad Shark® was submitted over two years ago, and with its acceptance Monster Arts now has claim to this very unique and powerful mobile marketing brand.

Commented Monster Arts CEO Wayne Irving, "In today's global economy, the opportunities for expansion, franchising, and e-commerce make brand recognition and brand integrity more important than ever. We see securing these trademarks as necessary and important steps toward our corporate goal of ensuring the integrity and continued protection of two of our most important growing brands, while in the very immediate term discouraging counterfeiting and would-be imposters."

About AdShark®
Ad Shark® was an entity that organized advertising sales efforts by constructing a robust media and advertising delivery system. Ad Shark®'s mission was to capitalize on the explosive growth of the mobile marketing industry, which some analysts have estimated to be increasing at an annual rate of about 100% per year and which by some estimates now represents nearly 30 Billion Dollars in worldwide annual revenues.

Ad Shark®'s innovative approach to integrating traditional internet advertising with optimized media and cutting edge ad delivery methods, all tailored specifically for the applicable Smart Device, OS or screen resolution platform made the company "a player to be reckoned with" in the very competitive pool for mobile marketing services and products. Ad Shark® was dissolved as a part of the merger with Monster Offers (predecessor-in-interest to Monster Arts), and now is a registered trademark held by Monster Arts.
