Innospec and Its Customers Donate Nearly $75,000 to Support PenFed Foundation Military Heroes Fund

IOSP

Generous Gift Will Help Injured Service Members and Veterans Along With Their Families

LITTLETON, Colo., Sept. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Innospec Inc. (Nasdaq:IOSP) is proud to be associated with the Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation (PenFed Foundation) Military Heroes® Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance to wounded service members and veterans from all wars including those of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Earlier this month, Innospec gathered together with 180 of its customers, suppliers and partners at a fundraising event in Lone Tree, CO. As a result of the generosity of all sponsors, participants and contributors, Innospec was able to make a donation of almost $75,000 to the PenFed Foundation to support its Military Heroes® Fund.

"Innospec's support in a time of such great need is an honor and a moving tribute to military men and women who selflessly defend our nation," said Ed Dauksz, a board member of the PenFed Foundation and decorated Marine Corps veteran. "We've seen a 30 percent increase in requests for our Military Heroes Fund® emergency grant over the last year and the money donated will enable the foundation to help even more wounded service members and veterans."

Patrick Williams, President and CEO of Innospec, said, "Part of being in business is remembering that there are others in the community around us who are less fortunate than ourselves. This fund is one of the most deserving causes we have seen, and allows us to acknowledge the selfless service given by the men and women of our armed forces. We are very proud to be associated with the PenFed Foundation and the Military Heroes Fund®."
