Imperial Reports Maturity Date of Credit Facilities Extended

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 11, 2013) - Imperial Metals Corporation (TSX:III) confirms its lenders have extended the maturity date of the Company's credit facilities to provide additional time for arranging the senior financing for the Red Chris project. 

The maturity date on the $150 million credit facility from the Company's bankers has been extended from September 30, 2013 to December 31, 2013. The maturity date of the $130 million unsecured line of credit facility with Edco Capital Corporation, a company controlled by Mr. Edwards, a significant shareholder of the Company, has been extended from October 1, 2014 to January 1, 2015.
