Lapolla Industries, Inc. (“Lapolla”) (OTCQB:LPAD), a Houston based
global supplier, and manufacturer of spray polyurethane foam insulation
and elastomeric protective coatings, and equipment designed to reduce
energy consumption in the residential, industrial and commercial
markets, for both new construction and retrofit applications, announces
passing the Wet Wall Test and opening up of pathways to international
growth opportunities for its injection foam.
Douglas J. Kramer, CEO and President of Lapolla commented, “Europe has a
uniquely challenging insulation condition with age-old construction
involving narrow hard to reach cavities. Lapolla’s injection foam
addresses that condition and fills the historic void. Passage of this
test enables Lapolla to supply the Mark Group with the equipment and
injection foam required to meet the niche market need. There are
approximately 7 million residential buildings in need of upgraded
insulation in the United Kingdom alone.”
The Wet Wall Test is designed to evaluate a wall’s resistance to
moisture intrusion during the most severe weather conditions and ensure
that rainwater will not be able to enter the interior of a structure
through the exterior wall, while providing exceptional insulation and
improving the stability of the structure.
Bill Rumble, Chief Commercial Officer from Mark Group says, “I am
delighted that Lapolla has passed this rigorous test. It’s an important
milestone that takes us a big step closer to tackling the millions of
properties that would benefit from their pioneering system.”
