AIRDRIE, AB, Sept. 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Genesis Land Development Corp. is
honouring talented Alberta artists by featuring their work in Canals
Landing show homes, part of the development's Grand Opening festivities
on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
As part of its role as a key sponsor of ARTember, a 17-day celebrate of
the arts in Airdrie that started on Sept. 13, Genesis Land Development
is hosting an art competition.
Over the past month, Genesis Land Development has received submissions
from artists in Airdrie. After careful deliberation, the winning pieces
have been selected. The following talented artists will have their
works featured in Canals Landing show homes, to be celebrated at the
Wednesday, Sept. 21 Grand Opening:

Char Vanderhorst
Candace Holden
Veronica Funk
Genesis would like to thank all artists who participated. All pieces
were extremely well done, making the judging panel's job very
difficult.
The winning submissions -- paintings, drawings and photographs -- will
be on display at the Canals Landing development model show homes and
available for purchase. The public is invited to the Grand Opening of
the homes to see the winning artwork.
Canals Landing be opening its doors at 12 noon on Saturday, Sept. 21,
giving community members the opportunity to discover the newest
neighbourhood in the city of Airdrie. The show homes represent the
Canals Landing vision, which offers finely crafted homes built by
Crystal Creek Homes, Genesis Builders Group, McKee Homes and ReidBuilt
Homes.
