MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 27, 2013) - TomaGold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:LOT) ("TomaGold" or the "Company") announces that Maurice Giroux has resigned from the board and as the Company's Vice President, Exploration for personal reasons. The Board of Directors and Management wish to thank Mr. Giroux for his contribution and wishes him the very best in his future projects.
André Jean, a geological engineer member of the TomaGold team and chief geologist for the Monster Lake project since the very beginning, will supervise the exploration activities for the Company in the interim. Mr. Jean has been the chief geologist for the Monster Lake project since the very beginning. He has over 30 years of experience in geology, having worked for multiple mining companies in Quebec, Central and South America and Africa, including Les Mines Seleine, Louvem, Lac Minerals and Osisko. Mr. Jean graduated from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi in 1979 with a degree in a geological engineering.
