Time Warner Inc. (NYSE:TWX) Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Paul T. Cappuccio today announced that Maurice F. Edelson is joining the
Company as a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Mr.
Edelson will assume his new role immediately and will report directly to
Mr. Cappuccio. Mr. Edelson will focus on special projects, including
assisting with the previously-announced legal and structural separation
of Time Inc. from Time Warner.

Mr. Cappuccio said: "Maurice and I have worked closely over the years
and I have experienced and benefited first-hand from his analytical
skills, great judgment and leadership abilities. I’m pleased he has
agreed to join our corporate legal team as we continue to focus Time
Warner on its mission of creating great content in television, film, and
journalism.”
As part of his duties as Time Inc. Executive Vice President and General
Counsel, Mr. Edelson also oversaw Corporate Strategy, M&A, Real
Estate/Facilities, Security and International Licensing & Syndication.
From February 2011 until January 2012, Edelson was a member of Time
Inc.’s Interim Management Committee, which led the company during a
transition period between CEOs. It was during this time, under Mr.
Edelson’s direction, that Time Inc. initiated its tablet strategy for
its magazine brands, successfully expanding its “all access” model
across all titles.

Edelson was named General Counsel in 2007 and became an Executive Vice
President in 2008. Prior to that he served as Time Inc.'s Senior Vice
President, Strategic Planning with responsibility for Corporate Strategy
and M&A. Edelson began his career in Time Inc.'s Law Department in 1998.
Before joining Time Inc. he served as a corporate counsel at Viacom Inc.
and prior to that he was associated with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine
& Moore. A graduate of Vassar College, Edelson holds an M.B.A. from
Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
