In 2013, LeapPad2 received the inaugural "People's Choice Toy of the Year" and "Educational Toy of the Year" awards; in 2012 LeapPad1 won "Toy of the Year," "Educational Toy of the Year" and "Preschool Toy of the Year" awards.

"We are thrilled to have three of our products recognized as top contenders for the Toy of the Year awards, the most prestigious ballot in the toy industry," said John Barbour, chief executive officer at LeapFrog. "We are committed to providing children with highly engaging and entertaining experiences when playing and learning with LeapFrog solutions. We believe that LeapPad Ultra, LeapReader and Farm Mash-Up provide these rich learning experiences and hope that our products will be recognized at this year's event. Each of these unique products has been designed or approved by our talented team of designers and in-house learning experts to ensure they are the most engaging and age-appropriate learning solutions available for children."

Winning products are selected based on popular votes from consumers and announced during the February awards ceremony in New York, marking the kick-off to the 111th annual American International Toy Fair.

Consumers can vote for their favorite LeapFrog product through January 29, 2014 at www.toyawards.org.
