J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) shares closed up 1.85 percent on Tuesday with over 44 million shares traded. The stock traded in a range of 9.25 and 9.52 yesterday. CEO Myron Ullman has made his first purchase of the retailer’s stock since returning to the top post in April.
