On December 5, 2013, the Transportation Security Administration (the "TSA") canceled a $60 million order for carry-on baggage screening equipment. On December 9, 2013, OSI acknowledged that the cancellation was likely due to the Company's use of a Chinese-made component in the equipment; OSI says use of the component violated its contract because the Company did not obtain approval for the component before its usage. Shares of OSI were down more than $17.00 per share in intraday trading on December 9, 2013.
