Targacept, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRGT) shares closed down 34.29 percent on Tuesday with over 4.5 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ and hit a new 52-week low of $3.87 during intra-day trading. The fall came after the drug developer said it would stop work on an experimental drug that failed in a mid-stage study of schizophrenia patients.

(OTCBB: OLIE) shares closed up over 530 percent on Tuesday after the company announced that its subsidiary, Settlement Management Series 1, LLC has just completed an assignment for $20,000,000 MTN USD, credit linked to a Triple A US Treasury Strip. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the OTCBB market and traded over 180 million shares.
