(PINKSHEETS: QEGY), announced that it is moving forward with the acquisition of a Business Development Company (BDC) through the formation of Quantum Funding, Inc. by Data Capital Corp (DCC). "The corporate formation process is nearly complete and a CUSIP number will be sought immediately to identify the securities of the BDC through the Committee on Uniform Securities Identification Procedures," said Stan Wilson Chairman and President of Quantum. The BDC will then make all filings to qualify to raise an initial $5,000,000. To acquire the BDC as a subsidiary with its $5,000,000 on hand, Quantum will issue restricted shares at $0.50 cent per share. "In anticipation of the BDC acquisition and the accompanying funding, Quantum is in discussions with several potential sites to assess the feasibility of developing diesel refineries within and without the Bakken," Wilson said.
