IPG Mediabrands, the media arm of Interpublic Group (NYSE:IPG), and
TubeMogul, a leading programmatic video advertising company, announced
today the launch of the first apprenticeship in the advertising
technology industry. The program, jointly conceived of and designed by
IPG Mediabrands and TubeMogul, signals both companies’ continued
commitment to the programmatic space and to cultivating and investing in
the talent necessary to its success.
Dubbed “The Ultimate Ad Tech Apprenticeship,” the program’s application
process opens immediately, with successful applicants starting in June.
Applications will be reviewed for the most curious, ambitious and
creative graduate talent and will give successful candidates the
opportunity to start their media careers at TubeMogul or IPG Mediabrands.
Successful applicants will embark upon an immersive one-year training
program involving 6-month rotation between IPG Mediabrands and TubeMogul
offices in California. During this time they will benefit from exposure
to two complementary environments for innovation: a vast media agency
capability at IPG Mediabrands, and an entrepreneurial,
technology-focused organization at TubeMogul. Upon completion of the
apprenticeship, candidates will have a 360-degree view of the digital
business as well as market-ready skills in programmatic advertising.
