TORONTO, April 8, 2014 /CNW/ - It's a special, head-crushing edition of SPUN OUT this week as comedy kings The Kids in the Hall take over the office of DLPR. In a not-to-be missed television event, the legendary comedy group reunites on television for the first time in four years as Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson guest star in an all-new special episode of SPUN OUT, Friday, April 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO. Entitled "Middle Aged Men in the Hall", the episode sees The Kids in the Hall make their scene-stealing entrance as the high school Goth band-mates of Dave Lyons (Foley), with a mission to fulfill their longstanding suicide pact on his 50th birthday. In advance of the episode, viewers can get a glimpse of The Kids in action with all the best outtakes compiled into one hilarious blooper reel, available now on CTV.ca.

"Getting to work with The Kids is like putting on an old pair of shoes that know every embarrassing thing you've ever done, and that pinch a little at the toes," said Foley.

In "Middle Aged Men in the Hall" (Friday, April 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CTV), Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton) surprises Dave (Dave Foley) with what she thinks is the perfect 50th birthday present: a reunion of his former Goth band-mates from high school (The Kids in the Hall: Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson). But even more disturbing than the sight of seeing middle-aged men with pale faces and black eyeliner, is the fact that they have come to fulfill their 30-year-old pact to kill themselves when the last one turns 50.

Viewers can also catch encore presentations of "Middle Aged Men in the Hall" on Saturday, April 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, Monday, April 14 at 10:30 p.m. on The Comedy Network, and Thursday, April 17 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CTV Two. SPUN OUT is also available on demand on CTV.ca and the CTV GO app.
