Live CoolSculpting treatments will be performed in the company's booth using the newly launched CoolSmooth applicator, which delivers surface-based cooling to treat non-pinchable fat bulges in areas such as the outer thigh.
Earlier this month, ZELTIQ announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared the CoolSculpting procedure for non-invasive fat reduction of the thigh. The procedure is already U.S. FDA-cleared for the abdomen and flank.
