Avnet Electronics Marketing Executive to Keynote at Interlog 2014 Conference

AVT

Manufacturers today continue to struggle with the complexity of balancing supply and demand in their aftermarket supply chains as manufacturing and consumption are more often regionally disaggregated. Lalit Wadhwa, senior vice president, global supply chain operations at Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), will address those issues in his keynote presentation “Leveraging a Single View of Supply Chain and Standardized Metrics Framework to Drive Supply Chain Performance Improvement” at the upcoming Interlog 2014 Conference.

The Interlog 2014 Conference will be held June 23-25, 2014, in Rancho Bernardo, Calif. This supply chain event focuses on achieving visibility and flexibility in today’s global aftermarket and service parts supply chains.

“The supply chain is constantly in flux, with new markets, new customers and new suppliers,” said Wadhwa. “Many organizations are attempting to build one version of the truth of the demand side and supply side in order to improve working capital optimization, effectively meet consumer demand, and understand the role of contract manufacturers. My presentation will outline the importance of each of these and help attendees define a best practice roadmap to reach these goals for 2015 and beyond.”

Wadhwa will also host a Roundtable Discussion to provide attendees greater detail into the central themes of his keynote presentation.

Based in Phoenix, Wadhwa and his team assist Avnet customers to seamlessly move their supply chain from one region of the world to another, across multiple sites. He also ensures consistent supply chain business processes for global customers across Avnet’s regions and provides customers with a consistent experience regardless of location.
