EV Week in San Francisco Highlights the Revolutionary EV ARC(TM) Solar Powered EV Charger

BEEM

Envision Solar's EV ARC™ Solar Powered Charging Station Featured as a Global Solution for Sustainable Electric Vehicle Charging

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - October 06, 2014) - Envision Solar International, Inc., (EVSI) (OTCQB: EVSI) ("Envision Solar," or the "Company"), the leading renewable energy Media and Branding, and EV charging product company, will be featured at Charge Across Town's EV WEEK 2014 in San Francisco.

The industry-learning event begins in San Francisco at 10 am on Monday, October 6th, with a Mayoral Press Conference and Opening Ceremony at 11 am on the Main Stage at Fulton Plaza. San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, Envision Solar CEO Desmond Wheatley, and other industry leaders will speak about the future of electric vehicles and the critical infrastructure necessary to support the growth and adoption of EVs.

Envision Solar's EV ARC™, the world's first, and only, mobile solar powered car charger, will be highlighted throughout EV Week as a vibrant and sustainable solution that is rapidly being adopted by both government agencies that are developing the electric charging infrastructure required by their citizens, and leading companies striving to provide sustainable workplace charging for employees.

EV ARC™ units are currently planned for deployment throughout the City of San Francisco as part of a collaboration between the City of San Francisco's Department of the Environment and Charge Across Town, to provide needed electric vehicle charging infrastructure in high value locations and to promote "Driving on Sunshine."

This deployment was financed by grants provided by the Schmidt Family Foundation's 11th Hour project, founded by Google Executive Chairman, Eric Schmidt and wife Wendy. This deployment of EV ARC™ chargers in the City adds to similar recent deployments of EV ARC™ chargers to provide solar powered workplace charging in corporate locations, including a recent sale of 20 EV ARC™ charging stations to the world's largest and best known search engine.

"The 11th Hour Project recognizes the importance of linking transportation to clean, renewable energy in order to move our nation away from its dependence on fossil fuels, and the "Driving on Sunshine" project will help people realize that electric cars can be fueled by just the sun," said San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee.

"The people of San Francisco and Silicon Valley especially, represent the most progressive electric vehicle market in the country," said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Envision Solar. "We are proud to be a part of EV Week 2014 and to be working with leaders such as Mayor Ed Lee, Charge Across Town, and the Schmidt Family Foundation, to provide sustainable solar powered electric vehicle charging solutions throughout the Bay Area. It is often said that as goes California, so goes the rest of the nation. We are certainly seeing increasing demand for our products across the US as well as in California."
