ISC Announces Corporate Development Lead

REGINA, Dec. 12, 2014 /CNW/ - Information Services Corporation (TSX: ISV) ("ISC" or the "Company"), Saskatchewan's exclusive provider of key registry and information services, today announced that Peter Hamill has assumed the role of Associate Vice President, Corporate Development.

Under the leadership and direction of the President and CEO, Jeff Stusek, Mr. Hamill is responsible for strategic and functional leadership of ISC's growth and business development efforts as well as the team of individuals focused on opportunities and initiatives beyond ISC's Saskatchewan registries foundation, including data products and services. He will also provide advice to the Executive Team with respect to corporate development strategy and execution.

Mr. Hamill has spent over 35 years in the information management and technology sectors, most recently serving as an executive with IBM, where he was responsible for IBM's business development across the Prairie region. He has significant expertise in strategic planning, business development and alignment, customer relationship management, contract negotiation and sales and marketing.

Commenting on Peter's appointment, Jeff Stusek said, "As our business has progressed over the last 18 months we have diversified our efforts to increase our exposure and competencies in identifying new business opportunities. The addition of Peter's new leadership role at this time will allow us to become more efficient in our strategic approach to growth, business development initiatives and alignment of opportunities in our core business with potential new and complementary products and services. Peter brings significant knowledge and experience to ISC.
