First Foundation Inc. (NASDAQ: FFWM), a financial services company that
provides investment management, wealth planning, consulting, trust and
banking services primarily to high-net-worth individuals and businesses,
today announced a renewed commitment for its “Supporting Our
Communities" program.
In its third consecutive year, the program is a key component of First
Foundation’s corporate philanthropy initiative. “Supporting Our
Communities” is designed to help build the strength and impact of local
non-profits by offering a powerful combination of cash grants along with
consulting expertise from First Foundation’s team of professionals.
“We began the program with a desire to give back to the communities we
serve and it has been an honor to support so many wonderful local
nonprofits in a meaningful way,” said Scott F. Kavanaugh, Chief
Executive Officer of First Foundation. “This initiative is an important
aspect of our commitment to corporate philanthropy and we are excited to
be able to extend our support for another two years.”
Since its inception in 2012, First Foundation’s “Supporting Our
Communities” has provided cash grants and in-kind consulting services
valued at over $2 million to selected nonprofits. In total, it has
served over 40 organizations to date. Recipients have included Human
Options in Irvine, the Oceanside Museum of Art, the Imperial Valley Food
Bank, Pasadena Child Development, Women In Film in Los Angeles, Grant a
Gift Autism Foundation in Las Vegas, the Idyllwild Arts Foundation, and
Communities in Schools of Los Angeles.
In addition to serving the non-profits in Orange County, Los Angeles,
Pasadena, Coachella Valley, Imperial Valley, San Diego County, and Las
Vegas, First Foundation has plans to launch this initiative in Hawaii,
its newest market given the announced and pending merger with Pacific
Rim Bank.
