MONTRÉAL, Jan. 12, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Power Corporation of Canada (TSX: POW) is pleased to announce that Mr. Claude Généreux will join its senior leadership team as Executive Vice‑President of the Corporation, effective March 2, 2015.
Mr. Généreux is a senior Director of McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm. He has held various leadership positions during his 28 years with McKinsey, and focused on serving leading global companies in the Financial Services, Energy and Resources sectors. He has been posted in the Montreal, Paris, Toronto and Stockholm offices of McKinsey. Mr. Généreux graduated from McGill University and Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.
Mr. Généreux will also join Power Financial Corporation, a subsidiary of the Corporation, as Executive Vice-President.
