Net result for the year expected significantly higher




For the year 2014, consolidated revenue was CHF 837.5m compared with CHF 874.4m in 2013, a decrease of 4.2% at current exchange rates or 3.5% in constant currencies.

 

For the whole year, the Group's consolidated adjusted1) revenue was CHF 894.5m compared with CHF 934.1m in 2013, a decrease of 3.4% at constant exchange rates. The adjusted revenue from interdealer broking business (IDB) was down 3.1% in constant currencies while the forex trading business for retail investors in Japan (Non-IDB) was down 16.0%.

 

Activity levels in the second half of the year were stronger compared with the equivalent period in 2013, with consolidated adjusted revenue up 2.7% in constant currencies.




The Group reported consolidated revenue of CHF 214.2m in the fourth quarter 2014, up 6.2% in constant currencies from the equivalent quarter last year. The Group's consolidated adjusted revenue was CHF 229.8m, up 7.8% at constant exchange rates with IDB up 7.0% and Non-IDB up 41.3%.

In this context, the Group's net result is expected to be significantly higher than last year.
