EPR Properties (NYSE: EPR) today announced the addition of two senior
executives that strengthen the Company’s depth in leadership and support
the Company’s execution of its growth strategy.
Craig L. Evans joins EPR as Senior Vice President - General Counsel and
Corporate Secretary and Thomas B. Wright, III joins the Company as
Senior Vice President – Human Resources and Administration. Mr. Evans
will oversee the Company’s legal department as well as corporate
governance and compliance. Mr. Wright will oversee the Company’s human
resources and administration services, reflecting EPR’s increasing focus
on organizational development.
Mr. Evans joins EPR Properties from the Kansas City, Missouri office of
Stinson Leonard Street LLP, where he was a Partner and co-chair of the
firm’s Capital Markets, Energy Transactions and Real Estate Investment
Trust practices. He possesses significant legal experience in the areas
of public and exempt offerings of securities, securities law compliance,
mergers and acquisitions involving public and private companies, joint
ventures and corporate governance. During his tenure at the firm, he
also acted as outside legal counsel to EPR Properties.
Mr. Wright most recently served as Managing Member of his own Kansas
City based firm, Tom Wright Consulting, where he partnered with
executives and business owners in the areas of change management,
leadership/executive development, and human resources strategy
development. Prior to his consulting activities, Mr. Wright was Senior
Vice President – Human Resources and a Corporate Officer at Hallmark
Cards, Inc., where he directed all global human resources and personnel
services.
