has been voted into the American Society of TopGun Investment Minds in
the U.S. Metals and Mining category, by Brendan Wood International.
Brendan Wood International, a capital markets performance measurement
firm, recently recognized a group of investors with this honor as
“optimal leaders of thought in the industry during the past year.” Two
hundred and sixty-nine sell-side professionals cast their ballots for
those who were named TopGuns, according
to the firm's press release.
Mr. Aldis, who has been portfolio manager of the Gold
and Precious Metals Fund (USERX) and World
Precious Minerals Fund (UNWPX) since 2001, and previously served as
Director of Research at U.S. Global, holds a master’s degree in energy
and mineral resources from the University of Texas at Austin as well as
a Bachelor of Science in geology from Stephen F. Austin University.
