Crawford® Names 2015 Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship Recipient
ATLANTA (May 20, 2015) - Crawford & Company® (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB), the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions, has named Blake Dials, a rising junior at Morehead State University (MSU) in Kentucky, as the ninth recipient of its Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship. The annual scholarship is awarded to a rising junior or senior in Finance in MSU's School of Business Administration.
Dials is from Inez, Kentucky and is majoring in Finance. While at MSU he has maintained a 3.6 grade point average (GPA) overall in his studies and a 4.0 GPA in his academic major; he has also earned the additional distinction of being on the dean's list of high-performing students during all of his semesters at the university. Dials is also active helping others outside of his classes; he has accumulated more than 100 hours of community service as a member of the Eta Eta Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity.
The Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of the late Greg Threet, an assistant branch manager in Crawford's U.S. Property & Casualty office in Lexington, Kentucky.
