Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Corporation Announces Results of Votes

TORONTO, May 28, 2015 /CNW/ - Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Corporation ("LIORC") (TSX: LIF) announced the results of  votes at its Annual and Special Meeting held today in Toronto.

All of the nominee directors listed in LIORC's management information circular dated April 23, 2015 were elected as directors of LIORC. The vote was conducted by a show of hands. The number of common shares voted by proxy for the election of each director or withheld was as indicated below:

Resolutions confirming the adoption of an advance notice by-law and authorizing LIORC to file articles of amendment to make certain housekeeping amendments to its Articles were approved.  A resolution authorizing LIORC to invest in metal or mineral royalties was not approved by the requisite 75% vote of shareholders.

Final results on all matters voted at the annual meeting will be filed shortly with the Canadian securities regulators.
