“Julian Cohen brings to Teladoc unmatched experience and leadership in
the development and management of behavioral telehealth services and his
expertise will help us to further develop and enhance our program,” said

Before joining Teladoc, Cohen was chief executive officer of
Breakthrough, Inc., a web-based behavioral telemedicine firm that he
co-founded in 2010 and was subsequently acquired in 2014. Cohen's more
than 35 years of experience in health care includes executive leadership
roles in both entrepreneurial start-ups and large national companies
along with deep experience in behavioral health care, telehealth
services and mobile technology solutions. Earlier positions include
serving in senior capacities with such organizations as Ideomed Inc.,
APS Healthcare Inc., Wellcare Health Plans/Harmony Behavioral Health,
United Behavioral Health, DayOne Life Management, Cigna Healthcare’s MCC
Behavioral, now CIGNA Behavioral Health, and the Institute of Psychiatry
at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
