Rite Aid Pharmacists Now Using EQuIPP Platform to Measure Patient-Focused Pharmacy Performance Metrics

Pharmacy Chain to Implement Pharmacist Access to EQuIPP at All Locations in Support of Improving Patient Health Outcomes

Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) announced today that pharmacists across its nearly 4,600 locations chainwide are now utilizing Pharmacy Quality Solutions’ (PQS) EQuIPP, an information management platform that provides access to performance data across key patient care quality metrics, including those focused on medication adherence and appropriate medication use. Rite Aid is the largest drugstore chain to provide EQuIPP access to all pharmacists.

Through EQuIPP, Rite Aid pharmacists will be able to review their performance across key quality metrics, compare their performance against benchmarks, and then identify areas for improvement in patient care, health outcomes and health plan Star Ratings.
