First Foundation Announces Open Application Window for "Supporting Our Communities" Initiative

  • Selected non-profits are presented a $5,000 cash grant and in-kind consulting services for strengthening their organizational and fundraising capacity

First Foundation Inc. (NASDAQ: FFWM), a financial services company that provides investment management, wealth planning, consulting, trust, insurance, and banking services primarily to high-net-worth individuals and businesses through its two subsidiaries, First Foundation Bank and First Foundation Advisors, today announced that the Supporting Our Communities initiative for 2016 is open for all qualified applicants to apply. The purpose of the initiative is to help charitable organizations increase their capacity for sustainable growth.

As this initiative enters its fourth year, the program has already awarded $2.5 million in funding and in-kind services to various charities around Southern California, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. As the organization continues to expand its geographic footprint, the Supporting Our Communities initiative will expand to also serve non-profits in Northern California in 2016.

Since inception, the Supporting Our Communities initiative has served over 56 organizations. Recipients have included Laguna Beach Community Clinic, the Casa de Amparo in San Marcos, Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena, LAX Art in Los Angeles, the Children’s Heart Foundation in Las Vegas, Boys and Girls Club of Imperial Valley, Health Resource Center in Palm Desert, and Kupu in Hawaii.

First Foundation invites non-profits in Southern California, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Northern California to apply to its 2016 Supporting Our Communities initiative. Organizations accepted will receive from First Foundation a $5,000 cash grant and up to 20 hours of in-kind consulting services.
