Xplore Technologies Secures $1 Million Order from Leading Canadian Retailer

Fully-Rugged Bobcat Tablets Being Mounted in Retailers Forklifts, Shunts and Order Pickers

Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: XPLR), manufacturer of the world’s broadest range of high-quality rugged tablet computers, today announced it has received a $1 million order for its fully rugged Bobcat Windows series tablets and docks from one of Canada’s leading retailers. The customer is mounting the fully rugged Bobcat tablets on forklift trucks, shunt trucks and order pickers.

The Bobcat fully rugged tablets feature an array of integrated options and a sleek, sophisticated design. It comes standard with integrated GPS, two full-sized USB 3.0 ports, RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet, RS-232 serial-ready port and optional 4G LTE mobile broadband. The Bobcat is MIL-STD-810G and IP65 rated and comes with either Windows 7 or 8.1 Pro.

In addition to the almost 500 Bobcat tablets, the retailer also purchased Xplore xDock G2s and xDIM G2s, rugged and lightweight vehicle cradle mounts optimized for mobility enabling workers to dock and undock with minimal hassle and downtime. The purpose built docking solutions protect and secure the Bobcat tablets under heavy shock and vibration.
