Ambac Announces Change at the Segregated Account

NEW YORK, Jan. 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMBC) ("Ambac"), a holding company whose subsidiaries, including Ambac Assurance Corporation (“AAC”), provide financial guarantees and other financial services, today announced that effective January 22, 2016 Roger Peterson is no longer acting as the Special Deputy Commission for the Segregated Account of AAC.  The Commissioner of Insurance of the State of Wisconsin, acting as Rehabilitator, continues to have authority over the rehabilitation of the Segregated Account of AAC and continues to work closely with AAC in this regard.
