First Foundation Bank Appoints C.J. Donovan as Senior Vice President, Director of Loan Production

C.J. Donovan joins First Foundation as the Senior Vice President, Director of Loan Production in the bank’s San Diego office
Donovan’s hire is a sign of First Foundation’s continued growth in the San Diego region

First Foundation Inc. (NASDAQ: FFWM), a financial services company with two wholly-owned operating subsidiaries, First Foundation Advisors and First Foundation Bank, which collectively provide investment management, wealth planning, consulting, insurance, trust and banking services primarily to high net-worth individuals and businesses, has hired C.J. Donovan as Senior Vice President, Director of Loan Production.

In his new role, Donovan will focus on growing the commercial loan business in the San Diego county region, as well as throughout all of California. Donovan’s concentration will be originating multi-family and commercial real estate loans.

Donovan brings to First Foundation years of experience creating flexible solutions for property owners as well as facilitating purchase and refinancing loans for multi-family and commercial real estate properties. He previously served as Director of Income Property Banking at Opus Bank. Prior, he was a Loan Consultant at J.P. Morgan Chase. He will be joined on the team by Nathan Werdowatz, who will take the role of Loan Associate in the San Diego office.
